Dave Hansen

As President and CEO of Yellowstone Partners, Dave is responsible for the direction, future vision and leadership of this dynamic company. He is credited with growing the firm to asset levels exceeding $220 million. Dave’s extensive background of business management, portfolio asset management and equity analysis provide unique insights that create, build and manage wealth for Yellowstone clients. Dave’s hands-on approach and professionalism has been developed through his years of experience in all aspects of investment management, retirement plan design and financial planning.

After completing his MBA in 1993 at Utah State University, Dave started his financial services career working for Heritage Financial Group in Ogden, Utah and then with Talbot Corporation from 1997 to 2003. In 2003, Dave left Talbot to become a partner in Yellowstone Partners, assuming responsibility for clients in Idaho and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Two years later, Dave assumed control of the entire firm and its growing client base, consisting of individuals and companies from all over the country. The firm has grown consistently since that time.

Dave finds the most rewarding aspect of managing money the opportunity to offer clients the ability to abandon their financial worries and enjoy the freedom of being able to focus on their families and their leisure pursuits.
